About Fayetteville Technical Community College
FTCC has a history that was founded after a vision for the need for a local institution which caters job training for the industries and educational opportunities for high school graduates and people learning in the older ages in Cumberland County. FTCC is a public, state-supported, two-year, comprehensive community college serving Fayetteville and Cumberland County, North Carolina. FTCC was established in 1961 namely Fayetteville Area Industrial Education Center, FTCC has many campuses which includes a 150-acre Fayetteville campus, a 10-acre Spring Lake campus, a location in the Bragg Training and Education Center (BTEC) on Fort Bragg, and various outlying educational centers.
FTCC is recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to permit associate degrees, diplomas and certificates. FTCC has almost 37,000 students enrolled annually through its various Curriculum and Corporate & Continuing Education opportunities. Through the school’s motto, education for life, FTCC offers a valuable and good education. It offers hope to all who wants seek education and face the challenges and experiences throughout life.

FTCC offers independent study, one-on-one instruction, course-specific workshops, life skills workshops, study skills workshops, subject-related software and more. It is an open lab and there is no appointment needed. All you need to have is a current FTCC Student ID and your desire to learn.
The Student Learning Center offers one-on-one academic tutoring, computer access, and study assistance at no cost to students during normal day and evening class hours. In the SLC you can learn any time the writing, math, or any computer assistance. For tutoring in a specific subject, please refer to the schedules posted in the Student Learning Center. The staff or the faculty will be helpful in all aspects they will provide the necessary support and academic instruction to the students for their success.

1. Users must visit https://faytechcc.blackboard.com/ in the browser.
2. Click on the word in the right corner (under the Address area) for the Bb login page.
3. Provide the Username: The first seven characters of your last name, the first letter of your first name and last four digits of your Student ID#
4. Then the Password: 8-digit birth date as mmddyyyy
WebAdvisor is the FTCC’s online record access. You can have the real-time access to your information that you need it through Webadvisor. Webadvisor helps continuing education with curriculum of students, and information about the faculty and employees.

If you have difficulty logging into the WebAdvisor, please use your AD (Active Directory) password as your password but your UserID remains the same. But still if your password does not work, click to change it.
FTCC provides every student with student email which gives the official communication conduit between the College and students. This is a reliable, practical, secure, feature of web mail environment of the FTCC.
The primary purpose of the Student Email System is that it gives a way for the official communication channel between FTCC and its students. The college departments and instructors use this account to communicate with the students. The students should make sure they are following the college’s student email standards and proper e-mail etiquette everytime.
FTCC Email login
FTCC’s student email system is created by the college through Gmail account that can be accessed from anywhere where there is Internet and a web browser. The Gmail app is also available for mobile devices in the Google Play and Apple App Store.
There is a format for the default password for student email accounts that is 8 characters which is a Gmail standard. If you’ve submitted a password reset form, your password will be set to your 8 character date of birth.
You will have to fill out the reset password request form. When your password reset form is processed, your password will be reset to your date of birth on file in 8 digit format (MMDDYYYY).
As an FTCC Student, you have the library resources available. The students have access to various campus and online library services that might help them to find the resources they need to complete their assignments. The staff is here very available to assist with the student’s research questions and will guide them to the right direction.
